Institutional Futures Trading
- Futures from 16 Exchanges
- ~500 Online-traded contracts
- Competitive commissions
Futures trading was largely inaccessible to private investors for many years; slow adoption of online trading by Futures exchanges limited private access to important investments such as oil, precious metals and interest rates.
Exchanges have opened up over the past few years and Saxo Bank is at the fore-front, offering one of the widest selections of online and offline futures to be found in the market.
Online-traded Futures
Saxo Bank offers a large selection of ~500 online-traded futures contracts from 16 major exchanges around the world including:
- precious metals including: Gold, Silver (also minis) and Copper
- energies including: Crude, Heating Oils, Gasoline and Natural Gas
- wide range of globally traded Financials
- expanding range of Agriculturals: Softs, Meats, Grains
Volume-based commissions
Online futures are traded on volume-based commissions, where the more you trade the less you pay. For large monthly trading volumes, the price can drop to as little as USD 0.30 per contract.
Offline-traded Futures
Saxo Bank also offers off-line traded contracts traded by phone or over chat messaging in SaxoTrader.
Offline traded cover a wide variety of contracts and are traded on fixed commissions.
